About us:

Kidsgrove District Angling Association is a long-standing community fishing club based in the historic market town of Kidsgrove, an area with deep industrial and canal heritage linked to the Trent and Mersey Canal and the Potteries region. Like many traditional British angling associations, the club was formed to give local anglers affordable access to fisheries, encourage responsible fishing, and promote conservation of local waters and wildlife. Over the years, our association has supported both pleasure and match angling, attracting members of all ages and abilities from Staffordshire and the surrounding Cheshire border areas. Angling clubs such as ours have long played an important role in local communities by organising competitions, maintaining fishing venues, introducing young people to the sport, and protecting aquatic environments for future generations. Today, our association continues to reflect the strong sporting and community traditions of Kidsgrove, where fishing remains a popular pastime and social activity.
